The big news for 2021 is: 26 homes were purchased for over $1 million and then demolished. A home was purchased for $1.7 million in Ashton Heights and demolished. Maywood Design Guidelines Updated

Arlington’s only single family home neighborhood with a local historic district designation, Maywood, has had overlay protection since 1990. At the time the district was established, the County also adopted the Maywood Design Guidelines. The guidelines had been updated in 2005 and in 2011.
