The Arlington County School Board will hold two meetings on the historic district designation of Stratford Junior High School in August. HALRB recommended designation at their June 2015 Public Hearing. No schedule is in place yet for action on this designation by the School Board or County Board. In June 2015, a total of twenty-nine (29) demolition permits were applied for in Arlington County. All were for single-family homes. One was a resubmission. South Arlington had three of the residential demolition permits while North Arlington accounted for the remaining 26 permits.
