In July 2017, a total of seven (7) demolition permits were applied for in Arlington County. In comparison, July 2016 was 20; July 2015 was 31; and July 2014 was 6. One permit is for a shed in the Maywood National Register Historic District and has been reviewed by HALRB. Charlie Clark, who writes the “Our Man in Arlington” column for the Falls Church News-Press, has published this new collection of his stories on Arlington.
