In February 2014 a total of 11 demolition permits were applied for in Arlington County, all of which were for single family homes (see photos below). Preservation Arlington is seeking public input in developing the 2014 Arlington’s Most Endangered Historic Places List. Nominations can be submitted through March 28, 2014. The 2014 list will be released during Preservation Month 2014 (May). The Arlington Planning Commission’s Site Plan Review Committee (SPRC) is continuing to assess plans for the property at 1401 Wilson Boulevard, the location of the “Deep Throat” garage. The agenda for this sixth SPRC meeting indicates that the discussion will be a carry-over of transportation related issues from the previous meeting.
