Preservation Arlington has tracked demolition permits since Octboer 2013 and added date back to the start of 2009. These are just permits for the complete demolition of a home and not for “major renovations” which often resulted in near complete demolition of homes. We also have tracked from the time permits were applied for as most all are approved at some point and the application point more accurately reflects market demand.
