Published in 2015, by a 30+ year member of the Arlington Police Department, this book contains fascinating information about our great police department. Author Janet Rowe was with the Arlington police from the early 1980’s until 2012. The book contains photographs from the Police Archives as well as from the personal collections of other officers.

The Arlington Police Department, as we know it today, was formed in 1940. The book covers fallen officers, the various police stations and equipment, and significant events such as 9/11. It is an interesting perspective of the history of the County that you may not know about but has been important to our safety as we grew. The book was published to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Police Department.
