In May a total of twelve demolition permits were applied for in Arlington County. All demolition permits were for single family homes. One is in South Arlington with the rest in North Arlington. Summary below:

Three of the homes are in National Register Historic District and could have been renovated or remodeled and taken advantage of state and federal tax credits for historic properties:
1904 North Taylor Street is in the Cherrydale National Register Historic District
4408 20th Road North is in the Waverly Hills National Register Historic District
6023 21st Street North is in the Highland Park/Overlee National Register Historic District
